Our vision:

Although public awareness of health disorders has gradually increased in recent years, there is much room for improvement. Pathoscribe strives to raise recognition of health conditions through educating and increasing public understanding about often overlooked health disorders. We aspire to reduce stigma towards disorders and bring more public awareness to them.

Our founders:

We are the founders of Pathoscribe, Srivalli Adarapu and Anoushka Pandya, at St. Francis High School in Mountain View. We share a passion for STEM, especially healthcare. Together, we created pathoscribe to expand upon our passion!

Our name:

Pathoscribe is the mix of the prefix ‘patho,’ or disease, and the word ‘scribe,’ for writers. We write about a range of topics, one of those being diseases. Pathoscribe also sounds similar to the word ‘prescribe,’ which in medical terms means to advise the use of a specific treatment. We prescribe the knowledge of medical conditions and information!

What we do:

– raise awareness of disorders and diseases – health awareness

– provide short, educational, and easy-to-understand medical content

– create a place for passionate youth to explore and share their passions

– share fact-checked information with the help of professionals or credible sources
